This show is a remake of the original 1983 mini-series.

Some roles have changed and of course who plays these new rolls.

It is more up to date of technology as we would believe.

The one thing that has not changed is this alien race seems to be nameless but to be called "V" or visitors. But this time they are called "the V's"
